Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active SLPA license and credentials, or eligibility to obtain for the 26-27 school year
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English to effectively communicate with a diverse student and family population
  • Prior experience delivering speech therapy services to children in a school or healthcare setting
  • Understanding of IEP documentation and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students from preschool through 6th grade, supporting their individual goals and needs
  • Collaborate closely with Speech-Language Pathologists, teachers, and support staff to deliver high-quality care
  • Assist in preparing materials, implementing treatment plans, and tracking student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to student reports as needed
  • Serve as a cultural and linguistic resource for Spanish-speaking students and families
  • Participate in ongoing professional development relevant to school-based practice
