Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Oxnard, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Active SLPA license
• Fluent in both Spanish and English (Spanish required)
• Experience working with school-aged children (K-6)
• Minimum one full school year of SLPA experience in educational settings
• Familiarity supporting students with mild to moderate caseloads

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support SLPs in providing research-based speech and language services
• Assist in administering therapy activities and implementing lesson plans
• Work directly with an average caseload of 55 students, ensuring individual education plan (IEP) goals are addressed
• Document student progress and update supervising SLP accurately and timely
• Maintain effective communication with school staff and families
• Adapt materials and strategies to meet diverse student needs
