Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLPA license/certification required
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is essential
  • At least 1 full school year of previous SLPA experience in an educational setting
  • Comfortable managing an average caseload of around 55 students
  • Experience supporting K-6 students preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Assist with screening, assessments, and progress monitoring of students
  • Adapt and implement therapy activities according to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, SLP, and other members of the educational team to support student needs
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of sessions, data collection, and reporting
  • Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate

This full-time position offers a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week during the school year, with the opportunity to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Hourly compensation ranges from $50 to $55, reflecting your specialized skills and experience.
