Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLPA license required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse student populations and age ranges
- Collaborative spirit for working closely with educators, families, and supervising SLPs
Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Deliver direct, evidence-based services to students across multiple caseloads and age groups
- Accurately document and track student progress as part of the IEP process
- Prepare materials, maintain therapy spaces, and engage in data collection under SLP supervision
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and progress
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families to foster positive outcomes
