Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland SLPA license required
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse student populations and age ranges
  • Collaborative spirit for working closely with educators, families, and supervising SLPs

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
  • Deliver direct, evidence-based services to students across multiple caseloads and age groups
  • Accurately document and track student progress as part of the IEP process
  • Prepare materials, maintain therapy spaces, and engage in data collection under SLP supervision
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs and progress
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families to foster positive outcomes
