Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA licensure in California
  • Prior experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations
  • Solid understanding of speech and language therapy techniques and interventions
  • Ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs, educators, and parents
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Adaptable, proactive, and committed to student-centered support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized speech and language therapy services under the direction of a supervising SLP
  • Provide direct support to students in group and one-on-one settings
  • Assist with assessment data collection and progress tracking
  • Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate records of student performance
  • Communicate with classroom teachers and families to support carryover of skills
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP discussions, and ongoing training
