Make an immediate impact as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students for a 3-4 month maternity leave coverage, beginning in August. Located near Palo Alto, this contract opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about helping students develop essential communication skills in a school-based setting.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active or eligible SLPA or SLP license in California
  • School-based or pediatric therapy experience preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organization skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, following IEP goals
  • Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (if SLPA) in assessment and treatment planning
  • Track and document student progress, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations
  • Communicate regularly with educators and caregivers to maximize student support
  • Adapt therapy techniques and materials to engage students with a wide range of abilities
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and school-based activities as needed
