Take your Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) experience to the next level with an impactful contract position in a vibrant school setting near Paradise, CA. In this onsite role, you'll work directly with students ranging from elementary through high school who require support for communication and language development. Partner with dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists and enjoy ongoing guidance and collaborative teamwork as you help students achieve their educational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or related field; or AAS degree from an SLPA program
  • California SLPA license in good standing
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt during high-stress or crisis situations
  • Comfort traveling between multiple school buildings if required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services according to individual IEPs under supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports
  • Foster open communication with students, families, and school personnel
  • Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Offer services exclusively onsite—virtual services are not available for this position
