Certified Grades 9 - 12 School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Pawnee, Oklahoma

Take the next step in your career supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in an engaging school-based environment. This contract opportunity is set to begin as soon as possible and involves working with elementary students (Pre-K through 5th grade). You’ll collaborate closely with certified professionals and classroom teachers to deliver essential speech and language support to students with mild to moderate articulation and language needs.

Enjoy consistent weekday hours from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, with a 30-minute break for lunch each day. Your caseload will include approximately 50 elementary-aged students, all participating primarily in general education classrooms. You will provide both pull-out and push-in therapy services, helping young learners achieve their greatest potential.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Experience working with students in grades PK-5 preferred
• Background providing therapy for articulation and language needs
• Familiarity with both pull-out and push-in services in educational settings
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to collaborating with instructional staff and professional partners
• Must be ready for an ASAP start

Role Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy sessions as developed in collaboration with supervising speech-language pathologist
• Deliver interventions to students in general education classrooms, as well as through scheduled pull-out sessions
• Monitor and document student progress according to individualized plans
• Support teachers and staff by providing strategies to facilitate students' communication goals
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student growth and participation
