This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) ready to begin as soon as possible and support learners across elementary grades.

Enjoy a stable weekday schedule of 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. You’ll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 PK-5 students, all primarily experiencing mild to moderate articulation and language challenges. The students benefit from being in general education classrooms most of the day and receive speech and language support through pull-out or push-in interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid SLPA licensure is required.
  • Experience supporting students in grades K–5 preferred; familiarity with additional grades (6–12) a plus.
  • Ability to implement speech-language interventions under the direction of a supervising SLP.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Passion for working with children in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapeutic services to students under the guidance of a supervising SLP.
  • Support a caseload focused on elementary students, addressing mostly mild and moderate articulation and language needs.
  • Deliver services within general education classrooms, as well as through targeted pull-out and push-in models.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and other school staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate session notes and documentation aligning with school and district guidelines.
