Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or certification required
- Prior experience working in K-12 school environments strongly preferred
- Understanding of evidence-based speech and language intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help children succeed
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapeutic activities and interventions as prescribed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Work with students individually or in small groups to address speech, language, and communication goals
- Assist in preparing session materials, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and review of student plans
- Communicate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure seamless support for students
- Create a positive, engaging environment that encourages student progress and participation
