Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to implement therapy plans developed by a supervising SLP
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educators and families
- Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling effectively
- Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for helping students overcome communication challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support students in both group and one-on-one settings
- Assist in conducting screenings of speech, language, and hearing
- Track and report on student progress as directed by the supervising SLP
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to reinforce skills and ensure consistency
