Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active SLPA license
  • Current CDE (Colorado Department of Education) certification required
  • Previous experience in school-based settings is highly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Ability to assist with speech and language therapy plans under SLP supervision
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic learning environments
  • Must be available for interviews on July 14th

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students as outlined in therapy plans
  • Implement activities and exercises designed by licensed SLPs
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and staff to support student goals
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment for students to build communication skills
