Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current SLPA license or certification recognized by the state board
• Previous experience supporting speech/language programs in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, educators, and families
• Ability to implement speech therapy plans developed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads, document sessions, and track student progress
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering speech and language therapy sessions under the supervision of the Speech-Language Pathologist
• Support individualized education plans (IEPs) by working directly with students, helping reinforce targeted skills and strategies
• Prepare therapy materials and activities to address students’ speech and language objectives
• Collect and maintain accurate records of student performance, progress, and session attendance
• Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and collaborate with teachers and support staff
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture, encouraging student confidence and independence
