Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Philipsburg, PA

Embark on an exciting contract opportunity supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels as you collaborate directly with a licensed Tele SLP. This dynamic role provides valuable school-based experience and the chance to make a difference for diverse student populations. You'll work across three buildings, helping to deliver essential speech-language services to a caseload of 41 students—elementary through high school—while adapting to evolving needs throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Previous experience supporting students in a school setting preferred
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail
• Comfort managing a flexible caseload that spans multiple age groups and school environments

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with a Tele SLP to split and deliver high-quality therapy services
• Provide 55 thirty-minute treatment sessions each week (16 individual sessions and 37 group sessions)
• Rotate between three school buildings, working with students from elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and adhere to all required documentation standards
• Communicate regularly with staff, parents, and the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
• Adapt to caseload changes and evolving student needs as assigned
• Uphold all district guidelines, policies, and confidentiality requirements

This contract position consists of 35 hours per week. The district will continue to post the position internally according to union guidelines and will provide notice in the event a direct hire is found.
