You'll collaborate within a supportive educational environment, providing essential speech and language support to children in PreK through first grade, working with a manageable caseload of 25 students.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification.
  • Experience or training in school-based settings, particularly with early childhood or elementary-aged students.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to connect with young children, teachers, and families.
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and progress documentation.
  • Dedication to helping students achieve communication milestones.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to PreK – 1st grade students as directed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Support the implementation of IEP goals and document student progress.
  • Assist with screenings, assessments, and data collection.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies into classroom activities.
  • Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies for support.
