Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year! This full-time, contract position offers the chance to work closely with PreK to 1st grade students, making a positive impact in their educational journey. Working alongside a collaborative team, you’ll serve a manageable caseload of 25 students in a dynamic school environment near Pinedale, AZ.

You’ll provide direct support to students, helping them strengthen communication, language, and social skills, all under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. With a set schedule of 35 hours per week from July 31, 2026, to May 21, 2027, you’ll enjoy both consistency and growth throughout the academic year.

What you bring:

  • Active SLPA license or eligible to obtain for the duration of the contract
  • Experience supporting children in educational or therapeutic settings, preferably with school-aged students
  • Solid understanding of speech and language development in young children
  • Ability to follow therapy plans, collect data, and assist in documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, educators, and families

Your daily contributions:

  • Implement individualized interventions and activities as directed by the supervising SLP
  • Encourage student participation and progress towards speech and language goals
  • Maintain detailed session notes and track student progress regularly
  • Collaborate with educational staff and attend team meetings when needed
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for early learners
