In this onsite role, you'll be valued as a key team member, providing both direct and indirect speech-language services under the direct supervision of experienced, licensed SLPs. Your expertise will contribute to implementing students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) across one or more school sites.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or completion of an AAS degree from an accredited SLPA program
- Current, active SLPA license
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills—especially in high-pressure or crisis scenarios
- Ability to travel between assigned school buildings as needed
- Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services as mandated by students’ IEPs
- Document progress and collaborate with supervising SLPs to adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain compliance with school policies, state, and federal regulations
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families to optimize support and outcomes
- Attend professional development or training sessions to stay current in the field
