What you’ll bring:
- Active SLPA license or certification
- Experience in school or healthcare environments as an SLPA
- Understanding of K-12 student development and effective communication strategies
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and adjust therapy accordingly
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementing speech-language therapy sessions under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support students individually or in small groups with communication goals, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain accurate session records in compliance with school requirements
- Communicate regularly with supervising SLPs and educators to optimize therapy outcomes
- Engage with students across grade levels, tailoring support to meet different developmental stages
