Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students across grades PK-5 as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a supportive school environment near Ponca City, OK. This contracted role provides the opportunity to work with a diverse elementary caseload, focusing on students with primarily mild to moderate articulation and language needs who are integrated into general education classrooms. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break each day.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and current SLPA licensure required
  • Certification for working with school-aged children across K-12 encouraged
  • Experience or interest in serving children in grades PK-5 especially valued
  • Strong understanding of speech/language goals, IEPs, and therapy delivery best practices
  • Ability to collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 50 elementary students
  • Support general education participation by delivering both pull-out and push-in therapy sessions
  • Collect data, document progress, and support the SLP in adjusting intervention as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate on student IEP goals and service plans
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students
