In this engaging contract opportunity, you’ll work closely with a Tele SLP, collaborating as professionals to serve a diverse student population across three different buildings—elementary, middle, and high school. Within a supportive community, you’ll help deliver quality therapy to students at various learning stages.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current SLPA certification and the ability to provide documentation
- Experience or comfort working with school-aged children in group and individual formats
- Solid interpersonal skills for partnering with both onsite and remote SLPs
- Flexibility to manage a caseload of 41 students, with the ability to adapt to changes
- Organizational strength to manage a schedule of 55 weekly 30-minute treatment sessions (16 individual, 37 group)
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with school staff and families
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as assigned by supervising SLP
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the Tele SLP
- Travel between elementary, middle, and high school buildings as needed
- Foster a welcoming and supportive environment in all interactions with students
