Qualifications:

  • Current SLPA licensure or eligibility in the state of Maine
  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students
  • Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and document student progress
  • Work directly with students individually or in small groups as directed
  • Support data collection and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
  • Contribute to a positive, student-centered learning environment
