Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA licensure or eligibility to practice in California.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations.
  • Eagerness to learn from and aid the district SLP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the onsite SLP in delivering therapy services to students.
  • Support therapy sessions and documentation as needed.
  • Contribute to IEP planning, progress notes, and student activities.
  • Communicate effectively with education professionals and families.
  • Maintain respectful, professional relationships within a close-knit district.
