Key Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license/certification
  • Demonstrated school-based experience in supporting speech and language services
  • Strong ability to travel between school sites (itinerant position)
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with remote supervising SLPs
  • Commitment to documentation and compliance standards

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, following individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of a remote SLP
  • Travel between assigned school locations to deliver consistent and high-quality services
  • Assist in assessment and data collection tasks as assigned
  • Document student progress and communicate regularly with the supervising SLP
  • Support teachers and staff with strategies for student communication success
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all interactions
