A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available, providing services across educational settings with a travel component based in Prince George, VA. This position involves delivering support to students in both middle and elementary schools, ensuring a dynamic and impactful role in diverse learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology services under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 70 students with varying communication needs.
  • Work three days per week in a middle school setting and two days per week in an elementary school, supporting individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote students’ communication development and educational success.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Experience or training as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, preferably with exposure to school-based and healthcare-related environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students of different ages and abilities.
  • Ability to manage a substantial caseload with organizational efficiency.
  • Flexibility and preparedness for travel between school sites.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards.

Location:

  • Position based in Prince George, VA, requiring travel between a middle school and an elementary school.
