Qualifications:
- Current Washington SLPA licensure or willingness to obtain it promptly
- Ability or willingness to complete fingerprinting through OSPI
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders required
- Prior K-12 setting experience preferred; strong preference for middle school background in the middle school role
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Motivated, flexible, and passionate about student progress
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to assigned students under supervisor guidance
- Assist with assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support students’ communication needs
- Implement therapy plans and adapt materials for individual or small group work
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
