Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid California SLPA license required
  • Previous experience as an SLPA in both school and/or healthcare settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to follow therapy plans designed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Organized with documentation and data collection

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing treatment plans for students under the supervision of an SLP
  • Work with students individually or in small groups to address their speech and language needs
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the supervising SLP
  • Maintain accurate therapy records and assist with assessment procedures
