Make a positive impact supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) during the 2026-2027 academic year. This is an itinerant contract position, offering a dynamic environment where you’ll work across multiple school sites, collaborating with educators and speech-language pathologists to support communication goals for students.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, though recent graduates with strong clinical skills will also be considered
  • Comfortable working in an itinerant role, traveling between campuses as scheduled
  • Skilled in providing direct therapy and following treatment plans developed by supervising SLPs
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group speech/language therapy under the guidance of a licensed SLP
  • Assist with screening, assessment, and progress documentation for students receiving speech services
  • Implement intervention activities that foster communication skills in the classroom and other settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and families to support students’ IEP goals and ensure consistent care
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings as needed
  • Travel between assigned school locations within the district according to the itinerant route
