Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLPA license in Texas
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to follow directives from supervising SLPs and adapt to varied therapeutic approaches
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Organizational proficiency and documentation accuracy
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a certified SLP
- Follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to goal achievement for students
- Record and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Communicate regularly with classroom teachers and parents regarding student progress
- Assist in the creation and preparation of therapy materials and activities
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the collaborative educational environment
