Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant secondary school environment. In this contract role, you’ll play a crucial part in facilitating student communication and success. The position is full-time (37.5 hours/week), with the possibility to discuss part-time (approximately 30 hours/week). You’ll primarily serve at one campus, but flexibility to float between one or two sites may be needed, based on where you reside.

Begin your new assignment on August 11, 2026, and continue making a difference through May 26, 2027. Your expertise will impact an average caseload of 80 secondary students, helping them achieve their communication goals.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active, valid professional license as an SLPA
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with secondary age groups is a plus
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while delivering quality interventions
  • Successful completion of state fingerprinting and background check
  • Willingness to float between campuses if necessary
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • You’ll be asked whether you have previously worked for this district and if you have ever been terminated from a school district, as this may impact eligibility (affidavit required)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services under supervision per student IEPs
  • Support students’ social, academic, and communication needs in collaboration with teachers and SLPs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and attendance
  • Adapt to school site assignments and caseloads as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
