Candidates must hold an active Texas SLPA license and bring direct school-based experience. The role requires on-site work and reliable commuting between two campuses. Confirmed ability to travel between both locations is essential for consideration.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Texas SLPA license in hand (no supervision hours will be provided)
• Previous experience in a school setting as an SLPA
• Proven record of reliability and professional responsibility
• Reliable transportation, with confirmed comfort commuting between both campuses
• Ability to complete and pay for required fingerprinting within three days of contract signing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to working on-site every scheduled day

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Document session notes and progress according to school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to support student success
• Travel daily between two assigned campuses as part of your regular schedule
• Maintain professional accountability and build rapport with students and staff

Additional Details:

• Contract position running through late May 2027
• Reimbursement provided for candidate-purchased laptop
• Onboarding includes completing HISD fingerprinting requirements
