Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Richmond, TX

Exciting opportunities are available for experienced and credentialed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants seeking school-based roles in the Houston metro area! We are currently staffing for four upcoming maternity leave assignments in various elementary and middle school campuses, each set to begin in early 2027 and extending throughout the year. These positions offer the chance to make a direct impact in students’ lives, while working alongside a collaborative educational team.

Ideal candidates will bring:

• An active Texas SLPA license, held prior to application (please have documentation ready)
• Demonstrated background in K–12 educational settings as an SLPA
• Comfort working on-site with students and school staff
• Reliable transportation and a vetted, manageable Houston-area commute for chosen campus sites
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners

In these roles, you’ll:

• Deliver therapy services and support communication needs as directed by supervising SLPs
• Implement prescribed interventions and document student progress
• Coordinate with teachers, parents, and staff to enhance students’ learning experiences
• Maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with campus policies
• Travel locally between designated campuses as needed, based on assignment

Start dates include January 4, January 18, February 1, and March 15, 2027, aligned to the specific site. Assignments will cover the entirety of each maternity leave. Please note that on-site attendance and realistic commutes are essential, given the geographic reach of Houston and campus locations.
