Step into a fulfilling role supporting student communication and language development as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). You’ll work 37.5 hours per week during standard school hours, providing vital support and intervention to students with a variety of speech and language needs. Qualifications:
- Current SLPA licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state
- Previous experience as an SLPA or relevant school-based setting preferred
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP, following prescribed treatment plans
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes and supporting an inclusive educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement intervention and therapy activities as directed by supervising SLP
- Support students individually and in small groups across assigned caseload
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session outcomes
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families regarding student needs
- Contribute to collaborative multidisciplinary teams focused on student success
