This contract opportunity is ideal for a Bilingual SLPA looking to make a meaningful difference in elementary and middle school settings. With a caseload of 55 students, the role focuses on providing high-quality language and speech therapy services in a supportive school environment. The position runs full-time, offering 37.5 hours each week, and starts in August 2026, continuing through June 2027. The district is currently interviewing candidates for an immediate start.
Key Qualifications:
- Holds applicable certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Demonstrated fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience in educational or healthcare settings with children preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with certified SLPs
- Comfortable managing a caseload of up to 55 students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Not open to Clinical Fellows (CF); qualified SLPAs only
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students as directed by an SLP
- Assist with evaluations and document student progress accurately
- Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ speech and language goals
- Adapt therapy materials and strategies for diverse student populations
- Participate in team meetings and maintain thorough records
