School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Rock Hall, Maryland

Key Qualifications:

• Current SLPA license or certification required
• Background or coursework in speech-language pathology or communication disorders
• Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is a plus
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, SLPs, and families
• Comfortable working in an itinerant role across up to five schools

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language intervention to K-12 students under SLP supervision
• Follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and assist with progress monitoring
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and SLPs to support generalization of skills
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student performance
• Support assessment activities and assist with preparation of therapy materials
• Travel between multiple school sites as needed throughout the week

Position Details & Schedule:

• 37.5 hours per week, with part-time consideration available
• School hours: High school from 7:20 am – 2:40 pm, elementary from 8:30 am – 3:50 pm
• Itinerant role serving up to five schools; exact caseload to be determined
