Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students across five schools as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This role offers an engaging experience working within a collaborative, supportive district alongside other experienced SLPs and an additional SLPA. While the caseload will be finalized prior to your start, you can look forward to varied, meaningful interactions ranging from elementary to high school settings.

This itinerant position is structured for 37.5 hours per week, but flexible scheduling, including part-time consideration, is available to help you find the right fit. High school hours run from 7:20 AM to 2:40 PM, while elementary school hours are from 8:30 AM to 3:50 PM, offering a clear routine.

Qualifications:

  • Current SLPA license or eligibility in the state
  • Previous experience in K-12 settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites during the week
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services as directed by supervising SLPs
  • Assist with caseload management, including documentation and progress tracking
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student treatment plans
  • Provide direct intervention to students individually and in group settings
  • Support generalization of communication strategies throughout varied classroom environments
