What we’re looking for:

  • Valid professional SLPA license (Texas state requirements)
  • Previous school-based SLPA experience preferred
  • Background in secondary-age caseloads (middle/HS)
  • Experience with AAC devices is a strong asset
  • Ability to meet state credentialing and fingerprinting requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation for potential travel between 1-2 school sites

Key responsibilities:

  • Support SLPs in delivering individualized therapy for a caseload averaging 80–90 students
  • Implement direct therapy and document student progress
  • Collaborate with educational teams and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide assistance to students using AAC devices
  • Adapt and travel between school sites as assigned
