What you'll bring:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field (required)
- Valid or pending California SLPA license
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Flexibility and adaptability within dynamic environments
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation and progress tracking
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy sessions under supervision of a certified SLP
- Support development and implementation of student treatment plans
- Document student progress and communicate updates to the supervising SLP
- Provide resources and reinforcement activities in individual and small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to maximize student success
- Participate in ongoing professional development as required
