This full-time contract opportunity calls for five dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to work on-site in schools near Saint Johns, FL, providing essential direct speech services. You’ll have the chance to serve in vibrant elementary and center school settings, helping students reach their fullest potential throughout the academic year.

Start making a difference as soon as possible, with assignments running through late May 2027. Each SLPA will be assigned to one school—options include traditional elementary and specialized center school campuses—where you’ll deliver direct speech-language services to a diverse and meaningful caseload.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license required
  • At least 2 years’ experience as an SLPA, including a minimum of 6 months working in a school-based setting
  • Previous experience supporting school-aged children with a variety of needs
  • Able to complete state and district credentialing (including fingerprint clearance and, if needed, JLA badge)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; adept at collaborating with teachers and support staff

Your Role:

  • Provide direct, school-based speech-language services under licensed supervision
  • Support students’ communication goals in both pull-out and classroom settings
  • Contribute to IEP process through progress documentation and targeted intervention
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
