An exciting opportunity awaits for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students and educators in a dynamic school environment near San Bernardino, CA. This contract position is ideal for a collaborative and compassionate SLPA seeking to make a positive impact in the lives of children and adolescents while working closely with an accomplished therapy team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLPA licensure valid in California
  • Experience supporting students in school-based settings preferred
  • Comfortable collaborating with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and other education professionals
  • Effective communication skills with children, staff, and families
  • Basic knowledge of therapy materials, documentation practices, and IEP support
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to a variety of student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support services to students under the guidance and supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists
  • Carry out therapeutic activities and interventions according to established plans
  • Assist in tracking student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Prepare learning materials and help create a supportive learning atmosphere
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure students’ communication needs are met
  • Engage in meetings and professional development as requested
