Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in San Francisco, CA

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant, diverse school community near San Francisco, CA. You’ll collaborate closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and other educators, engaging directly with students to implement therapy plans and track progress. Your expertise and compassion can help students achieve their goals in speech, language, and social development.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active or eligible California SLPA license
• Previous experience working with children or in school settings preferred
• Solid understanding of speech and language disorders
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to follow therapy plans and collect data on student progress
• Professional, organized, and flexible approach to daily responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
• Work with students individually or in small groups as directed
• Assist with screening, assessment, and documentation
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records
• Support SLP with preparation of materials and therapeutic activities
• Contribute to IEP team meetings as requested
