Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Background or experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings supporting speech/language therapy
- Understanding of school caseloads, including documentation and progress reporting
- Commitment to fostering an encouraging learning environment for diverse student populations
- ASHA SLP Certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans as directed by supervising Speech Language Pathologist
- Deliver individual and small group therapy sessions in the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student communication needs in the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely session documentation and progress notes
- Communicate regularly with supervising SLP and participate in professional development as needed
