Required Qualifications and Preferred Background:

  • Associate’s degree from an approved Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California SLPA license
  • Prior experience working within a school setting preferred
  • Demonstrated strengths in communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to work cohesively with teachers and related service teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to implement individualized therapy plans
  • Conduct both individual and group interventions designed to address students’ communication needs
  • Document session outcomes and assist in monitoring student progress
  • Engage with educators and families to foster student success
  • Contribute to the development of a nurturing, inclusive environment for students at various skill levels
