Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid California SLPA license
- Experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Collaborative spirit and comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Support Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans
- Deliver direct and indirect services to students with communication challenges
- Document therapy progress and assist with recordkeeping
- Participate in team meetings and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) processes
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment for students of varying backgrounds
- Adapt and modify activities under supervision to suit individual student needs
