Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and valid California SLPA license
• Experience in a school setting is highly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Collaborative spirit and comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Support Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans
• Deliver direct and indirect services to students with communication challenges
• Document therapy progress and assist with recordkeeping
• Participate in team meetings and Individualized Education Plan (IEP) processes
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment for students of varying backgrounds
• Adapt and modify activities under supervision to suit individual student needs
