Located in San Jose, CA, this full-time, contract opportunity is available for the 2024/2025 school year. The role supports students with communication disorders under the guidance of Speech-Language Pathologists in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students
- Collect and document data on student progress
- Implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California SLPA license
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
