This position begins in August and covers a 3-4 month maternity leave, providing essential support to students in a dynamic educational environment close to San Jose and Palo Alto, California.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California licensure as an SLPA or SLP
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of speech and language disorders affecting school-age children
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Collaborative spirit, ready to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services under supervision (for SLPAs)
  • Assist with evaluation, development, and implementation of individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Document students’ progress and maintain case notes as required by district policies
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to reinforce strategies within the classroom
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP processes as needed
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards in all interactions
