Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK-8th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year. This full-time, onsite position provides the chance to make an impact at a single school location, working 40 hours per week from August 3rd, 2026, through May 26th, 2027. The caseload will be determined in collaboration with your supervisor, allowing you to focus your skills where they’re most needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Arizona SLPA license
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card
- Previous experience supporting students in an educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to work collaboratively within the school community
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services as designed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support students’ communication goals in adherence with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assist in administering speech, language, and hearing screenings when required
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for caseload management
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress and engagement
- Participate in professional development and training as needed
