Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program, or a bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California SLPA license
  • Prior school-based experience is highly desirable
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and thrive within a collaborative multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Assist in implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals for students with various communication needs
  • Collect data and maintain accurate records on student progress
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Effectively communicate with teachers, staff, and families about student needs and progress
