Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Santa Clara, CA

Step into a dynamic contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), starting this August. This 3-4 month assignment is designed to cover a maternity leave and offers the chance to contribute your expertise within a vibrant school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA license or SLP credential (current and in good standing)
• School-based experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds considered
• Knowledge of speech and language disorders in school-aged children
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising SLP (for SLPAs) or develop and execute individualized therapy plans (for SLPs)
• Work one-on-one or in small groups to support students’ speech and language goals
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in team meetings
• Engage families and teachers in supporting students’ communication development
• Adapt interventions to meet diverse cultural and developmental needs
