Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid or eligible SLPA license in the state
  • Recent experience working with school-aged children, ideally in an educational setting
  • Familiarity with speech and language intervention techniques and data collection
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, educators, and support staff
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out speech and language activities designed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Provide direct therapeutic services to students individually and in small groups
  • Assist in documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Support SLPs in assessments and the preparation of therapy materials
  • Communicate regularly with teachers and families regarding student progress as directed
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP goal implementation
