Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in California
  • Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to take direction and work closely with supervising SLP
  • Organized, reliable, and committed to student success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the SLP with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Assist in conducting speech and language activities under SLP guidance
  • Help create materials and organize resources for therapy sessions
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records as directed
  • Foster a positive and encouraging environment for students receiving services
  • Participate in team meetings as needed and communicate updates to SLP
