Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or certification
- Proven experience working as an SLPA in a school setting
- Familiarity with supporting IEP implementation and collaborating with SLPs
- Comfortable providing direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups
- Strong communication and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work onsite and adapt to the needs of a diverse student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering therapy and collecting data
- Work with students across various grade levels
- Support SLPs in preparing materials and carrying out intervention plans
- Document student progress and communicate updates as needed
- Collaborate with educational staff to contribute to a holistic learning environment
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies and practices
