Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Texas
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Comfortable providing services to a diverse student population
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLP, educators, and families
  • Monolingual English proficiency

Role Details & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Assist in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and documenting student progress
  • Support assessments and data collection for progress monitoring
  • Collaborate closely with the speech team, teachers, and other educational professionals
  • Help develop and utilize therapy materials that support speech and language growth
  • Create a positive and engaging therapy environment for students
  • Commit to a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) from August 12, 2026, through May 28, 2027
