Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Texas
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Comfortable providing services to a diverse student population
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLP, educators, and families
- Monolingual English proficiency
Role Details & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and documenting student progress
- Support assessments and data collection for progress monitoring
- Collaborate closely with the speech team, teachers, and other educational professionals
- Help develop and utilize therapy materials that support speech and language growth
- Create a positive and engaging therapy environment for students
- Commit to a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) from August 12, 2026, through May 28, 2027
