Starting as soon as possible and extending through the end of May 2027, you’ll play a vital part in helping students reach their communication goals over multiple school years.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or eligibility in the state of Texas
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued
  • Comfortable collaborating with a supervising SLP and other educational staff
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive student rapport
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and personalize interventions
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and organized to manage documentation and therapy sessions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized therapy plans developed by a licensed SLP to address students’ speech and language goals
  • Deliver direct and indirect services to students under SLP supervision
  • Collect data on student progress and contribute to reports for IEP meetings
  • Participate in school meetings and provide updates on student performance when needed
  • Prepare engaging activities and materials that support targeted communication objectives
  • Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and supportive environment for student growth
