Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license or eligibility in Washington State
  • Previous experience in a pediatric, school, or educational setting is highly valued
  • Solid understanding of speech and language development and intervention strategies
  • Comfortable collaborating with SLPs, teachers, and other professionals
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student populations and changing environments

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver therapy services to students
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student goals
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records as required
  • Conduct group or individual therapy sessions across a variety of age groups
  • Support classroom teachers and staff with speech and language resources
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment for students to develop communication skills
