Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Seattle, WA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders (or related field)
• Valid SLPA license or eligibility for licensure in Washington State
• Previous experience working with children, preferably within a school environment
• Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
• Comfortable adapting to diverse student populations and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement therapeutic activities and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Support students in improving communication, speech, and language abilities
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations
• Assist in creating engaging, evidence-based classroom materials and resources
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and parent conferences as needed
