Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Holds a valid SLPA license or certification in accordance with state requirements
  • Experience with school-aged populations (preferred, but not required)
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and educational documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt activities for a variety of student needs
  • Reliable, organized, and professional

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Implement treatment activities tailored to individual communication goals
  • Collect data, monitor progress, and report on student performance
  • Assist with screening and informal assessments as directed
  • Participate in team meetings and support documentation needs
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to create supportive learning environments
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district policies
